He is editor and co-editor of several international journals and Member of Mathematical Association of America and of the Indian Academy of Mathematics, Indore. Author and co-author of 142 original papers on peer- review and ISI journals.

 

His main research interests are: dynamical systems, patterns of growth and sustainable development, mathematical economics, game theory, optimization theory, applied Economics.

He is Director of the Mediterranean Institute of Classical Art (IMAC) of València, General Coordinator for Italy of the Conseil de la Culture Méditerranéen (UNESCO), Member of the Board Directors of the Roma-Mediterraneo Foundation and Honorary Inspector of the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage.

Giuseppe Perta is a Researcher of Economic History of the Mediterranan at “Medalics”, the Research Institute of the “Dante Alighieri” University in Reggio Calabria.

Giuseppe Perta is a Researcher of Economic History of the Mediterranan at “Medalics”, the Research Institute of the “Dante Alighieri” University in Reggio Calabria. He obtained his PhD in 2010 with a thesis on  Mediterranean mobility. In 2004, he acquired a Degree in Cultural Heritage (110/110 cum laude), and in 2006 the MA in Fine Arts at the Politecnica University of Valencia (sponsored by UNESCO).

 

He was also a Fellow in History at the Italian Institute for Philosophical Studies – Naples (2005).   Since 2005, he was an assistant lecturer of Mediterranean History (Suor Orsola Benincasa” University “in Naples and “Mediterranea” University in Reggio Calabria). He is also responsible for the laboratory of Medieval History at the Faculty of Educational Sciences of the Suor Orsola Benincasa University in Naples and is a professor of Mediterranean History for the Master’s Courses promoted by Medalics.  

 

He has published several articles (http://medalics.academia.edu/GiuseppePerta) taking part of many conferences, later becoming directly involved with the organization of international meetings. His research interests are: history of trade and travel; contemporary historiography and unitary notion of the Mediterranean History.

He is the President of THINK! The Innovation Kowledge Foundation; he was the Managing Director of IDC International for Italy, UK, France and Germany, President of IDC EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). In 2009 he established together with Ezio Viola ‘The Innovation Group’.

Roberto Masiero is the President of THINK! The Innovation Knowledge Foundation, an international, independent, and non-profit research institute – a Think Tank – with the objective of collecting, elaborating and spreading knowledge on the usage of ICT, digital and service-driven technologies to promote innovation processes, economic growth and human development in mature, emergent and developing economies.

 

After having served as Managing Director of IDC – a company that is international leader in the sector of market researches for the ICT sector – for Italy, UK, France and Germany, he was elected President of IDC EMEa (Europe, Middle East and Africa).

 

In 2009 he established, together with Ezio Viola, ‘The Innovation Group’, a consulting group specialized on business and organizational innovation based on ICT adoption.

 

He graduated in Economics at Bocconi University and attended post-graduate courses at the INSEAD of Faontainbleu and the Advanced Management Program (AMP) at Harvard Business School.

She is Research Fellow for Mediterraneo and Middle East at ISPO – Institute for Studies in International Politics; she is editorial coordinator of Quaderni di Relazioni Internazionali (the journal of ISPI); she is teaching assistant in the course on European Institutions at the Catholic University of Milan.

After obtaining a degree in Political Sciences at the University of Catania, she obtained a Masters of Philosophy in International Relations at the Institut Universitaire de Hautes Etudes Internationales (IUHEI) of Ginevra.

 

She is a teachning assistant in the European Institutions course at the Catholic University of Milan. She worked at the University of Catania and at the European Parliament.

 

Since 2002 she has been a Research Fellow for the Meditterrano and Middle East at ISPI – Institute for Studies in International Politics, where she coordinated a research project in Turkey for the Institute.

 

She is editorial coordinator of Quaderni di Relazioni Internazionali, the journal of ISPI. She contributed to several research projects and published a series of documents, articles and books.

He is assistant professor of “Financial Mathematics” at the University “Mediterranea” of Reggio Calabria. Since 2014 he is a lecturer of the subject “SECS-S / 06 – Mathematical methods of economics and actuarial and financial sciences” in the same University. At MEDAlics, his research activity are: Southern and Mediterranean, History of the mediterranean relationships, least developed countries and international cooperation.

Dr. Mehdi Salimi (Iran) is a researcher at “Medalics”, Research Centre of the University for Foreigner “Dante Alighieri” in Reggio Calabria, Italy. He obtained his PhD in applied mathematics in 2011 from “Universiti Putra Malaysia”. In 2006, he acquired a master degree in pure mathematics in Tehran, Iran.

Dr. Mehdi Salimi (Iran) is a researcher at MEDAlics – Research Centre of the University for Foreigners “Dante Alighieri” in Reggio Calabria. He obtained his PhD in applied mathematics in 2011 from “Universiti Putra Malaysia”. In 2006, he acquired a master degree in pure mathematics in Tehran, Iran.

 

He was also a postdoctoral fellow in the Center for Dynamics (CfD), Dresden University of Technology, Germany, and finished the position in January, 2015. Currently he is a member of CfD of TU-Dresden (cfd.tu-dresden.de).

 

Dr. Salimi has published several articles (http://www.math.tu-dresden.de/~salimi/) and his research interests are: game theory, pursuit-evasion differential games and numerical analysis (root findings).

He was a Visiting Professor at the Patriarchal Studium Generale Universitas Pro-Deo of New York and at the Ateneum Szkola Wyzsza of Gdansk.

 

Since 2010 he has been Assistant Professor of Accounting at the Faculty of Economics of the on-line University e-Campus where he teaches Financial Accounting.

 

He also teaches Public Accounting in the undergraduate course of Law at the University of Calabria.

Silvia Masiero is a PhD candidate in Information Systems at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). She is also a member of the Conflict Research Group at the same institution, and an Affiliated Researcher at the Centre of Development Studies (CDS) Trivandrum, India.

 

Silvia has a degree in Economics of International Markets and New Technologies, awarded with honors by Bocconi University (Milan), and a Master of Science in Development Management, awarded with Distinction by LSE. From her field experiences in Palestine (2008 onwards), Jordan (2009), Togo (2010), Lebanon and Sierra Leone (2011), Silvia has derived her approach to development, as inseparable from direct involvement in the contexts and problems at the center of her research.

 

Beyond her PhD, Silvia is an experienced researcher on conflict-induced humanitarian emergencies. Her focus is primarily on the relationship between service providers and refugees: over the last years, she has worked extensively on the accountability of the United Nations Palestine.
